Vest Administrationen - portraits for Ejendomsforeningen Danmark

For the February issue of Magasinet Huset, published by Ejendomsforeningen Danmark, I have photographed CEO of Vest Administrationen Kent Friis Petersen and Head of Administration Timmy Lund at their headquarters in Copenhagen.

The company was established in 1991 at Vesterbro, Copenhagen where they started doing business in administrating apartment buildings on behalf of the owners. Today their company has more than 245 housing unions and 5.900 apartments in their portfolio. The company is now based in Hellerup, one of the wealthy areas of Copenhagen, but CEO Kent Friis Petersen insists that they are still the same low key business as they used to be at Vesterbro. And that neither he or his Head of Administration knows how to tie a tie.

The pictures went along with a portrait of the company and their history written by journalist Camilla Louise Kristensen.

SuperCreative - visual identity

One of the things I love the most about my job as a freelance photographer is that I have a big impact on who I choose to work with. I can set my own team of creatives or, as in this case, get invited to join creative processes of other companies.

Last year I started cooperating with Art Director Mette Grøngaard. Together we created the visual identity for SuperCreative, the company of the creative mastermind, Søren Chr. Andersen. I've never met anyone like him and it was a huge honour to work with him and get a sense of his take on creative processes.

With Mette Grøngaard and Søren from SuperCreative I got to be a part of the design process from the early beginning and it was exciting to see how their original ideas transformed into pictures, colour scales and design.
